Check to see if your computer has Realtek HD Audio Manager installed

In most cases, Realtek HD Audio Manager is installed with the Realtek HD audio driver in Windows 10. Normally, Windows 10 OS installs the Real HD audio driver automatically, and you can find the Realtek HD Audio Manager in the Control Panel, but if you can’t locate it, follow the steps below to get Realtek HD Audio Manager for Windows 10 PC.

To see if your computer has Realtek HD Audio Manager installed, perform the following steps.

Step 1. Go to Device Manager by pressing the Windows + R keys, type “devmgmt.msc” into the Run box, and click OK.

Method 2 : Manually

To manually update your Realtek audio driver you need to follow these steps:

Expand the System Devices section in the Device Manager.

Restart the system

Add Legacy hardware

Go to Device Manager by pressing the Windows + R keys and then typing “devmgmt.msc” into the Run box, and clicking OK.

Select the Action tab.

From the drop-down box, search for and choose Add legacy hardware.

Select the radio option for Search for and install hardware automatically by clicking the Next button (Recommended).

Check Cable Connection And Volume

If your cable connection is loose, then also you may get a Realtek high definition audio controller not working.

Check that all of your speaker and headphone connectors are correctly attached and are not plugged into the wrong jack or are loose.

Check that the power and volume controls are turned on. The headphones are properly plugged in; The speakers may not operate if the headphones are plugged in.
